Studies

Water sports economy in Belgium

This study has been carried out by Vlerick Management School by order of Nautibel and Flanders Expo Belgian Boat Show. The researchers have illustrated the economic strength of the water sports sector. The study will be updated every two years with new figures. Drawing up a policy plan for water sports and tourism for the Flemish waterways and coast

Tour Sailing Study
(Tour Sailing in the Flemish part of the Benelux Central Area)

As part of the Inter-regional III project ‘Beleef het Water’ (Improving the relationship between land and water tourism), a study has been carried out by order of the Tourist Board of Flanders into the profile of tour sailors in the Flemish part of the Benelux Central Area i.e. Province of Antwerp, Province of Limburg, and Province of Flemish Brabant. The results of the study were published in November 2004.
